NEW ZEALAND

My husband and I spent three weeks driving around New Zealand for our honeymoon. November 2023 was a great time to go - the weather was mild and it was spring in the southern hemisphere, which meant baby animals and lush scenery.

My personal favourite parts of the trip were bird-photography related: Hiking up to the Mueller Hut and meeting a Kea, and having a visit from a Tui at our Airbnb near Fox River. These two events alone justified lugging the camera backpack around :)
